- Compensate physicians who are currently spending their off-work hours engaged in recruitment activities.
- Hire anesthesiologists to increase operating room capacity and perioperative services.
Outcomes
- Assist with BC Ministry of Health’s mandate for increasing operating room capacity and perioperative services for future needs of the community.
- Compensate for the backlog of surgeries that we postponed during the initial COVID shutdown.
