Goals
- Having an established orientation and mentorship program would foster earlier integration into KGH.
- Compile an orientation package which could include Departmental procedures and expectations, admission algorithms, outpatient referrals and services, etc.
Outcomes
- Develop and implement the mentorship program.
- Provide a standard orientation and support mechanism for all new physician hires in the Emergency Department.
- Provide the new physician with support and guidance in their transition to practice at KGH.
