Goals
- Create a laboratory ordering pathway for meningoencephalitis to ensure appropriate infectious diseases testing is performed based on clinical presentation and risk factor.
- Evaluation of developed ordering pathway by medical microbiology and neurology groups.
Outcomes
- Approved pathway will be disseminated widely, and included as part of roll out of a new meningoencephalitis panel by Laboratory Department to be released later in 2023.
