Goals
- Determine if such policies exists within other Anesthesiology Departments in BC hospitals.
- Hold stakeholder interviews and focus groups.
- Create a draft proposal describing when a pregnant anesthesiologist can request to no longer be scheduled on any sift that could potentially require clinic work between the hours of 2300 to 0800.
Outcomes
- To promote physician engagement by increasing collaboration among staff to generate a policy that will contribute to the improved working conditions for physicians.
