Goals
- Develop a coordinated approach to management of GI Patients which may lead to better clinical care, improved communication, reduction in patient symptomatology, and reduction in return ED visits.
Outcomes
- By engaging with only the resources mostappropriate for the patient’s circumstances, these clinical care pathways reduce unnecessary ED visits, consultations with other healthcare providers, and diagnostic testing.
