Goals
- Review opportunities to improve pathways of care and to create efficiencies in the collaboration between KGH and the Kelowna MHSU.
- Support earlier discharges, avoid admissions where appropriate, increase access to Psychiatry, link in with the developing SCSP work.
Outcomes
- Potentially shorten ELOS, decrease ALC times, improve the effective utilization of MHSU staff while creating clear access to patient centered services.
