- Review current literature and best-practices to make implementation recommendations suitable for the environment of KGH to improve patient care and outcomes of this highly morbid presentation.
Outcomes
- Produce multidisciplinary educational initiatives within the department of cardiac sciences to improve knowledge / understanding and care delivery for patients presenting with cardiogenic shock.
- Explore the possibility of standard critical care pathways and/or PPO's, and potentially an IH cardiogenic shock team.
