Goals
- Engage a core group of surgeons to guide the development of Committee / Departmental meeting Terms of Reference, draft position descriptions (where required) and explore reasonable mechanisms for compensation for Division Head roles.
- To create a structure and a plan to support the work of the Department of Surgery to include recommendations for physician leadership compensation.
Outcomes
- Enable the Department of Surgery to more readily achieve its strategic goals and contribute to planning and decision making at KGH.
- To recognize the contribution of KGH’s medical leaders.
